8 track Friday - After the full moon

I still like doing "Five on Friday," but I also love music, if you can't tell, so I think every other Friday I'm going to do an 8 track mix that either I made or I really like. Be sure to share your mixes with me if you make one!

I was excited to find this necklace at Hot Topic. I have been lusting after this Tatty Devine necklace for years, and when I saw the small plastic version, it was a fair enough approximation to satisfy me.

I'm not normally a bright colors person, but I've been really into yellow lately. Before I bought this shirt, I'd already bought two yellow belts from Coldwater Creek that I have yet to wear.

So this is me, branching out a little, with my starry oxfords and dino accessories. I am funky at heart, and doing my best to look a little funkier in person.

2. Speaking of Jezebel, here's an article they did on The Sartorial Challenges of Big Boobs. Yeah, some of you may have noticed that I've got a pair.

3. Do you want your dashbord navigation to sound more deadpan? Get Daria's voice for Garmin or Tom Tom from Nav Tones and MTV. Driving with Daria would be awesome.

4. If you and your child are vegetarian or vegan, you might have some trouble figuring out what kinds of things you want in your goodie bag this Halloween. To help you out, here is the Veg News Official Guide to Halloween Candy.

5. Check out Indy Grrrl's awesome set dedicated to The Craft. That film had a huge impact on my life when I was in my early teens, and it has stood the test of time to have a huge impact on teen style blogger Tavi as well. Did it affect you, also?

Speak to me in a language I can hear

I wasn't even going to post pictures of this outfit, but when I got to work I saw myself in a full length mirror (which I don't have at my house) and thought, "Hey, I look pretty good!"

But when I got home from work, it was too late for me to take a picture outside, so I decided to be extra classy and take a bathroom pic, dirty mirror and all.



I thought I'd kick my leg up a la By Hillary, but I thought it would be too much effort to show you my unimpressive old black Sketchers.

But then I started going through my blogroll, and saw this post on Nubia's Nonsense. I looked at the photo of her posing on the bathroom sink and I thought, "Hey, I can do that!"
